Paul's ode to London's female traffic wardens, first recorded on 23 February and completed with an overdub of honky-tonk piano played by George Martin on 21 March. Considerable tape echo in their headphones encouraged the Beatles to add moans, sighs, screams and the sound of a comb and toilet paper at the end of the song.
