Rubber Soul - track 6 |
A John Lennon prototype of All You Need Is Love, not as lyrically
coherent as its 1967 counterpart but perfectly suitable for Beatles model 1965, George
Martin contributes harmonium to the finished recording.
The song was recorded in three
takes, with take three being used for release. The mono mix was prepared
November 11, as was a stereo mix (remix 1), which was not used. A new stereo
mix was made on November 15.
