An old Lennon/McCartney song revived to make up the Rubber Soul numbers. Wait had been a Help! album reject, but left unreleased. The tape was pulled out of the library during the final 11 November session for Rubber Soul and more instruments and vocals were overdubbed to make it suitable for issue.
