The Beatles spent the first three days of June at Abbey Road, rounding off the non-soundtrack side of the album A Hard Day's Night and adding the two remaining tracks on the EP Long Tall Sally, speedily issued a fortnight later.

It was the Beatles' first Perkins cover (other than the BBC recordings), more than four months before George recorded Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby for the closing track on Beatles For Sale.
