Not a British hit for Chuck Berry in 1958, but a song that was hammered out by almost every British beat group of the sixties and one of the most frequently performed tunes on Saturday Club.

The Beatles recorded 'Johnny B. Goode' for the BBC Radio show "Saturday Club" which aired February 15. This recording was released in both the US and the UK on December 6, 1994 on "The Beatles Live At The BBC."

On January 14, 1969 John Lennon performed a bit of this song while sitting at the piano during the rehearsals for the aborted "Get Back" film/album project. This performance has been bootlegged.
