The Beatles recorded 'All My Loving' on July 30, 1963 for release on their second LP "With The Beatles." Thirteen takes were recorded, however, Lewisohn reports there was no take 5. Takes 2, 3, 8 and 9 were false starts. The released version was an overdub, take 14 onto take 11. The mono mix was completed on August 21, the stereo mix on October 29. On some releases, specifically the German LP's "With The Beatles" and "The Beatles Greatest," the song begins with a "hi-hat" intro supplied by Ringo. This song was reprocessed for the US LP "Meet The Beatles."
On February 26, 1987 the album "With The Beatles" was released in both the US and the UK on the CD format. Originally, a new stereo mix was prepared for this release; however, George Martin later remixed the album in mono. The new mono mix is found on the CD release of the album "With The Beatles."
A new stereo mix of this recording was prepared for the CD release of "The Beatles: 1962 - 1966" released in the UK on September 20, 1993 and in the US on October 5, 1993.

Although the released recording does not qualify as a bootleg, the double tracking demands that this recording be included as an unauthorized recording. All of these performances have been bootlegged.

On February 16, they held an afternoon dress rehearsal and a live performance in the evening, again for "The Ed Sullivan Show." The February 16 performances have both been bootlegged. The February 9 appearance was released in both the US and the UK on November 21, 1995 on "The Beatles Anthology Volume 1."
