In the Beatles' set list since 1960, this obscure favourite of Paul's was originally recorded in 1956 by the Jodinars - refugees from Bill Haley's Comets.
The Beatles recorded 'Clarabella' on July 2, 1963 for the BBC Radio series "Pop Go The Beatles" episode which aired July 16. This recording was released in both the US and the UK on December 6, 1994 on "The Beatles Live At The BBC."
