The Beatles, with Pete Best on drums, recorded 'Love Of The Loved' at their London audition for Decca Records on January 1, 1962. Any "authorized" releases of this track seem to have a hazy legality and are difficult to find. For this reason, these releases are listed as bootlegs.

This song was written by Paul McCartney and later given to Cilla Black. She recorded the song and released it as a single on September 27, 1963.
