Pete Best was still with The Beatles when a fan taped a July 1962 Cavern Club performance during which 'If You Gotta Make A Fool Of Somebody' was recorded. Paul McCartney purchased this tape at Sotheby's auction on August 29, 1985. No other copies of this recording have surfaced.
