During rehearsals for the aborted "Get Back" film/album project Paul McCartney led the group into a performance of this Ray Charles song on January 26, 1969. During this performance, John Lennon recites a line from 'Sexy Sadie'. This performance has been bootlegged.

Paul also performed this song at a sound check before his concert at the Montreal Forum on December 9, 1989. This performance was released on his album "Tripping The Live Fantastic" in both the US and the UK on November 5, 1990.
